The delegation, comprised of TirexPE’s Assistant General Manager and the Group Head of Business Development, delved deep into the intricacies of modern drilling technologies. Their comprehensive exploration encompassed critical components like high-pressure Accumulator Units, BOP (Blowout Preventer) Moonpool Area Equipment, Cantilever Deck systems that house essential drilling equipment, Driller Consoles (Dog Houses) for precise wellbore control, Engine Rooms for uninterrupted power generation, Mouse Holes facilitating safe equipment transfer, and robust Rig Floor Roof Decks for crew protection.
This targeted exploration directly aligns with the Nigerian government’s ambitious plan to significantly increase crude oil and gas production from 1.4 million barrels of oil per day (bopd) to a targeted 2.0 million bopd.
